I actually have a faint memory of when trains used to still utilize this station. I remember when we would have to wait on Montreal street for trains to pass by. 'Seems impossible since I would have been one year old, possibly two depending on the time of year in 74 when it closed. That would make it my earliest memory, which I previously thought was when I was four. Interesting (for me).
That's very cool! I obviously have zero memory of it being in use other than as the Pig And Whistle and find that kind of sad now. There's no way to be with Andrew for ten years and not take an interest in local railway history! :)
