Kindness Returned

Essie told me one day that we had to go to the dollar store and that she had to make a specific purchase there.  When we arrived she went straight for the garden stakes and picked out this hungry frog for the woman who lives below us because she 'knows she loves her garden'.  Our neighbour showed Essie that she had indeed placed it in the garden.

Worm Whisperer

I don't know quite how she does it but Essie can find a worm to play with no matter the weather.  She must be part bird and know how to lure them up from underground.

It's pretty nice to open a kitchen cabinet and find your favourite chocolate bar left there for you by a certain thoughtful someone.

Outdoor Creativity

Another of Essie's found object art installations.  A broken plastic tube, a rock and some foliage.  I try to take pictures of every little spontaneous outdoor art piece she does so I can make an album of them some day.

I was trying to get a shot of these disgusting bugs.  They're not the most in-focus part but I ended up liking the reflections and the neat architectural detail I captured instead.
